That's the developers way of keeping you playing, Hex. I found myself wanting to buy more airports when I had enough coins but the option just wasn't there. Progress is very slow though, because you can only unlock an additional airport once you level up. Naturally I started in Oz, and from there I expanded to New Zealand. Yeah, but anyway, the first decision you need to make is where to base your airline. and some flights can take over an hour to arrive. Once I'd got all my planes in the air there was nothing to do but watch them fly. I was constantly checking to see if one of my planes had landed and was ready for another trip.īut that's the bit that frustrated me, Hex. The gameplay is simple, you pick up passengers and cargo from one airport, and take them to another to collect their fare.Īnd one of the great things I love about these types of games is that you can pick up a few fares, and then put it back in your pocket where it continues to tick away in real time. Like the last game, Pocket Planes is another resource management simulator that puts you charge of your very own airline, raising it up from a small time rural start-up, into an international jet-setting mega-airline.
